The Dead Sea

from (II) How to Find God by Spoonion

/

lyrics

Far off from home I go alone
I see the moon: Hello, hello!
Floating in the atrament, absorbing all the gravity
Relaxing is the grey old stone
In the Dead Sea he swims alone
The revenants go meet the globe
He smiles to them, “Hello, hello!”
Where di all the people go?
The moon felt sad and all alone.
He cried his salty tears in rain
And filled the Dead Sea up again.
Now dogs and wolves go meet the globe.
They wave their bones: Hello, hello!
And now he doesn’t feel alone,
So as he smiled his tummy shone
The wolves and moon all gladly bathed
In the Dead Sea all alone!
